Salut Sampler

Looking at the menu, you can easily be overwhelmed by the great variety of options presented.  If you are still not sure what to get when it is time to order, you can never go wrong with the Salut Sampler.  This sampler is composed of the classic Hummus Nachos, Caprese Salad, Peppa Dew Pepper, Prosciutto Wrapped Melon, and Salut Fries.  There is a reason why the Hummus Nachos are the most ordered item off the menu: they are just so delicious!  The fried pitas make a great platform for the hummus mixture on top.  This combination is composed of juicy pomegranates, crunchy red onion, and crumbled feta cheese.  All of this is piled on to each pita as balsamic dressing is drizzled over the entire dish.  Balsamic is also drizzled on the Caprese Salad that comes with it.  Underneath this dressing is a row of sliced tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and a sprinkling of organic basil that makes it such a classic Italian dish.  A great compliment to both of these dishes is the Peppa Dew Peppers.  These sweet peppers of the South African descent are filled with our whipped goat cheese.  Lathered in oil, these peppers prove to be tastier with each bite taken.  As for the Prosciutto Wrapped Melon, this great combination of meat and fruit has the ideal sweet and salty taste.  On each of the two skewers given, there are three melons surrounded by fresh cut slices of prosciutto.  After this preparation, delicate honey is then drizzled onto each skewer before the toasted almonds are dotted on and stuck to the honey.  Last but not least, is the signature Salut Fries.  This popular side of shoestring fries is accompanied by both a feta and Parmesan cheese mixture inspired by the owner.  A tangy citrus vinaigrette sauce moistens the fries to perfection, while a collection of herbs tops off the side itself.  With this variety all in one serving, everyone at your table is going to want to grab a bite.
